Local Events

We offer multi-week ski and snowboard sessions* for kids of all ages:

• Three Amigos for 3-year-olds.    
• Sunny Sessions for 4- to 6-year-olds.
• Snowriders Club for ages 7- to 12-year-olds.

*PLEASE NOTE FOR THE 3-6 YEAR OLD LOCALS PROGRAMS, WE ONLY OFFER SKI LESSONS (NOT SNOWBOARDING).

Three Amigos is specially tailored for our youngest skiers. Your child is exposed to winter sports with our priorities being safety, fun, and learning. Our objective is to create a fun learning environment and making it a positive experience.

To register, choose your day of the week and which session you would like, then email us for availability. Due to the high demand and our commitment to keeping our instructor to child ratios small, enrollments are made on a first come first serve basis. 

To ensure that each student gets the attention they need, students that participate in the January session will have dedicated sessions available on Sunday and Monday afternoons in February; our morning sessions in the February Semester will be dedicated to new students in the program.

All lessons are 1.5 hours, each session costs $300

January – First Semester

Please check you session dates! We skip the Sunday and Monday of MLK Jr. Weekend and Presidents’ Day Weekend!

Sunny Sessions offer your 4- to 6-year-old child professional learning in a safe and social environment. Choose between first semester, second semester, or both. Each semester includes three (3) lessons, and you choose which day of the week you would like for your sessions. You can also choose morning half-day, afternoon half-day, or full day. 

Rates:

• Morning Half Day (9:30-11:30am): $300
• Afternoon Half Day (12:30pm-2:30pm): $300
• Full Day (9:30-2:30pm): $400 (includes lunch)

Snowriders Club offers your 7- to 12-year-old the challenge they need to progress their skiing or riding skills in a safe and social setting led by a professional instructor. Choose three (3) full-day sessions held on Fridays or Saturday on the dates listed below.

Snowriders Club does not include rental equipment. Call Sunlight Ski & Bike Shop at 970-945-9425 or email skibike@SunlightMTN.com and ask for season-long rentals for your 7- to 12-year-old.

Full Day (9:30am-2:30pm):

• $400 for one semester (includes lesson, lunch, and lift ticket).
• $735 for two semesters (includes lesson, lunch, and lift ticket).

Please check-in at the Ski School Lesson Window one (1) hour early and meet at the Lesson Meet-Up Spot (thru the breezeway) no later than 9:15am. Students will be back at the Meet-Up Spot at 2:30pm for pickup by parents or guardians.

REFUND POLICY

A 90-percent refund will be issues if notice of cancellation is given prior to the start of the purchased lesson(s). 

For multi-day lessons, only one (1) make-up lesson will be offered if there are missed lessons throughout the entire session. To qualify for a make-up class, advance notice must be given prior to any missed lesson(s), and the make-up lesson will be subject to availability.
