Alamo
Open:
Info: Another steep and deep with not much room for error. Don't forget your helmet.

Banzai
Open:
Info: Banzai= A Japanese battle cry. I believe it goes something like...AHHHHHHH!

Beaujolais
Open:
Info: A wild roller that gets a little tight in spots.

Blue Catwalk
Open:
Info: This is a great trail for beginner riders and skiers with nice kickers and hits along skiers left. Leads to almost everything on the west ridge.

Blue Finger
Open:
Info: A short, steep drop from Blue Catwalk into Joslin that is full of bumps. Be careful of skiers on your left when you drop in.

Blue Tango
Open:
Info: A short, wide pitch through a sparse patch of glades, which usually holds powder days after a storm. Just don't fall because all your friends will see you from the Primo lift.

Buckmaster Lane
Open:
Info: In tribute to Buck Master, a retired ski instructor who we hold near and dear to our heart. And he just keeps rocking year after year.

Charlie's Glade
Open:
Info: A great place to learn the ins and outs of tree skiing and a little steepness added for your convenience.

Children
Open:
Info: Our Children's Center training run is tucked behind our day lodge and is separated from the regular ski slopes.

Columbine
Open:
Info: A beginner's dream. Starts out as a green run and gently turns into a very easy blue run.

Cornice
Open:
Info: A run that at times seems like a catwalk with many opportunities to jump into some great tree skiing, including hucking off the cornice itself.

Crystal
Open:
Info: Fast, steep intermediate run with bumps down skier's left. Access to some great tree skiing.

Dawson
Open:
Info: Very similar to Peace Pipe but a little gentler slope.

Deception
Open:
Info: Nice straight shot down the far east ridge. You don't have to be crazy, but it helps!

Defiance
Open:
Info: Just when you think the top of this "easy black diamond" run is in your back pocket...you stop on Grizzly and glance over the edge at the bottom of Defiance, and wonder just how close the 1st aid room is.

Devil's Dare
Open:
Info: A short, gladed double black that is nothing short of devilishly difficult.

Dotsero
Open:
Info: Our beginner race hill and the run out to the freestyle jumps built this year. A great place to watch the crazies juck some sick air.

East Wishbone
Open:
Info: Another steep jaunt through our trees on our west side. Tricky with great rewards.

Enchanted Forest
Open:
Info: A large stand of pines which holds a bunch of thin rolling trails just wide enough for one person. Can be a great way to build confidence in trees and variable terrain.

Ferret's Hollow
Open:
Info: A hidden treasure on a powder day. A 10 foot wide entrance off Sundance opens up to a wide and fun filled field, with some of the best snow on the mountain.

Fliprock
Open:
Info: An easy out and nice finish to Columbine that winds through a large aspen grove. Can you find the famous fliprock jump into the trees?

Frying Pan Alley
Open:
Info: Just when you have Holiday Hill and Showdown licked, look to your left and it starts all over again...just more trees.

Gibson Glade
Open:
Info: Skinny, steep and very full of trees.

Grizzly
Open:
Info: Grizzly is the east ridge's answer to Ute trail. A long, flat cruiser that wraps around the top of the east ridge. Access to all extreme slopes.

Grizzly Road
Open:
Info: A quick diversion from "the Griz". Grizzly Road gently sweeps to the far east of the entire ski area and provides access to the furthest out runs in our extreme area.

Heathen
Open:
Info: You think you can ski steep? Well step up to the plate smart guy. One of the steepest runs in the state (52% pitch).

Holiday Hill
Open:
Info: Nice steep run full of moguls. Fun place to master bumps, but in full view of base area.

Inspiration
Open:
Info: A member of our east ridge team. Steep and full of trees...just don't look down.

Ivy's Run
Open:
Info: The twin brother of Flip Rock which lets you access more of Ute for your finishing run.

Joslin
Open:
Info: Our premier run for races and freeriding. Long, bumpy and full of jumps and terrain changes that will keep you on your toes.

Joslin Glade
Open:
Info: Great double fall lines with alot of tree action and room to show off to the people on the lifts.

Little Max
Open:
Info: A great blue run on a powder day. Starts steep and deep then merges into Sun King.

Loop
Open:
Info: For the more daying of our beginners. A wide sweeping arc that is slightly more challenging thatn Midway. Access to the freestyle jumps above Dotsero.

Lower Defiance
Open:
Info: Main access point to our "Double Black Diamond" runs. The easry way out if you find yourself over your head. Please be sure of your ability before you jump in.

Midland Express
Open:
Info: The way to get out of Perry's, Deception, Defiance and the East Ridge. It's your way to get back to the lodge!

Midway
Open:
Info: Take it easy and learn how to ski on this wide open groomed run. Then catch some air or grind a rail in our terrain park on skiers left.

Peace Pipe
Open:
Info: A nice steep bblue run which gets groomed on one side on powder days to give a "bail out" side when learning to ski powder or bumps.

Perry's Plunge
Open:
Info: The furthest out double diamond on our infamous east ridge..nuff said.

Primo
Open:
Info: A great run under the Primo lift. Plenty of drops and kickers will guide you down some of the hardest terrain at the area.

Que Pasa
Open:
Info: Que Pasa= What's up? Let's just hope it's not your time...

Rapid Transit
Open:
Info: Get enough speed on this double diamond and you MIGHT be able to reach the parking lot with a good jump (not recommended).

Rebel
Open:
Info: Easy access to tree skiing from this one. Skinny and a tester to those who are moving from green runs to blue.

Segundo
Open:
Info: Fun rolling pitches with a lot of powder days after a storm. Drop into our trees and let the good times roll.

Segundo Road
Open:
Info: Another access trail from Blue Catwalk to Columbine and Ute.

Sherman Forest
Open:
Info: The black diamond glade between East Wishbone Alley and West Wishbone Alley.

Showdown
Open:
Info: Should be the first test you take to see if your eyes are bigger than your stomach. Bump filled and steep and in plain view of the WHOLE LODGE...don't fall.

Slots
Open:
Info: If you hear a big "bang" ski faster.

Spruce Glade
Open:
Info: I can't see the forest through the trees! Oh well, there are plenty of trees, so don't forget your brain bucket.

Sun King
Open:
Info: A really nice wide, sloping blue run. Usually groomed and a great central location.

Sunburst
Open:
Info: A rolling blue that shortcuts Columbine to Ute Trail. Gets the heart pounding for a Green/Blue skier.

Sundance
Open:
Info: A nice easy blue run that leads from the top to Ferret's Hollow and lower Blue Catwalk with off-shoots to some easy tree skiing.

Sundown
Open:
Info: Access to the ski in ski out condos. Easy and usually groomed.

Teed's Run
Open:
Info: You look left for a way out. You look right for a way out...not happening! Suck it up and point 'em downhill.

Tercero
Open:
Info: Nice, easy beginners run under Tercero lift. Here's a secret: Lower Tercero usually has untracked powder for a day or two after a storm.

The Parks
Open:
Info: Wide, flat powdery diversion from Grizzly.

Tod's Ride
Open:
Info: Named after long-time patrol director (and still active), Tod Elston. Stop into the first-aid room on Saturdays and say "hi" to him!!

Upper Glade
Open:
Info: The very tip of our famous steeps. Good luck and hope you have been a good person.

Ute
Open:
Info: A 2.5 mile long, gently sloping green run that is fun for everyone. Watch for uphill sections, you'll need to get your speed up!

Ute Cutoff
Open:
Info: An easy access run from Cornice and Columbine to Ute Trail.

West Wishbone Alley
Open:
Info: Short and steep and full of trees. Give it your best shot and watch for skiers on your left when you come out on to Ute!

White River
Open:
Info: A quick, semi-steep little finish from Blue Catwalk to lower Ute Trail.

Zephyr
Open:
Info: A steep and challenging run with some of the best powder on the mountain!

Zephyr Glades
Open:
Info: Short and sweet and full of surprises. Bring your "A" game.
