Pump Haus Freestyle Terrain Park
Terrain Park Update: The terrain park is now open!!!
The jumps are mellow and small, and will grow throughout the season.
The CRYSTAL RIVER SPAS 24 foot rainbow box is set at the top of the terrain park (feature 1).
The DIGITAL DIMENSIONS 24 foot flat-down-flat box is set in the middle of the terrain park (feature 2).
The 16ft flat box is up and set – it was built by Justin Cochran - is in the middle of the terrain park (feature 3).
There is a sidewall hip, skiers left below feature 3, landing back toward center.
There is an arrowhead spinal hip (the arrow) is at the bottom of the terrain park (feature 4).
Thanks to the lifties, ski patrolers and instructors who helped with the Pump Haus Terrain Park!
Here we go with the 2007-2008 ski/board season! The freestyle terrain park is coming back this year –BETTER THAN EVER! Not only do we have Adam Coyne coming back as the terrain park supervisor, but we also have a new addition to the team. His name is Patrick Orton. Adam is confident in saying that “Patrick Orton, Sunlight’s new Freestyle Terrain Assistant, seems as if he will truly be a great addition to the team. He seems clear eyed and level headed, articulate, considerate, motivated and ambitious. His experience and interest in freestyle technique and performance, as well as his photographic exploration, will add a good measure of creativity and knowledge to our program.” Welcome to the team Patrick!
Through the season, we are proud to announce some brand new features that will be added to the fleet. This will include a new rainbow box, some smaller flat boxes (perfect for learning!) and others that will be announced soon.

Here is something to keep in mind as you enter into the Pump Haus Park…
Freestyle Terrrain Smart Style Code
1. Make a plan. Everytime you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use. Your speed, approach, and take-off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
2. Easy style it. Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended).
3. Respect gets respect. From the lift line through the park.
4. Look before you leap. Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear. Clear yourself out of the landing area.
