Sunlight Horseback Tours begin on June 10, 2011!

Escape to the beautiful colors and the cool heights of the western Rocky Mountains on horseback! This is one of the most beautiful and prestine walking, scenic horseback tours in Colorado. One-Hour (7 years and older) $40/person

We take pride in giving Beginner and Intermediate horseback riders the chance to enjoy the same spectacular experience as those more advanced horseback riders. With a brief orientation to the horses and riding, and with our trained horseback tour guides, this experience is sure to give even the most timid rider a new found confidence! Our scenic, family-friendly walking guided trail ride starts at the Sunlight Stables, adjacent to Sunlight Mountain Resort, high in the beautiful White River National Forest in the mountains of Colorado.

Ride times are 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm

Private Adventure for the more Experienced $50/hr/person*

*Minimum 2 people and 2 hours -- call for reservations

Private tours are recomended to riders with some experience. This is your opportunity to explore more of the backcountry and connect with your horse.

Children's Pony Ride (Ages 3-6) $15- 30-minute ride

Ride times are 9:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm-call for reservations

Parent must be present for all pony rides.

Open: 7 days a week beginning June 29 through September 5 (Labor Day)

Notes and Suggestions

No double riders allowed. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety and comfort. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen and a camera! All tours are weather permitting.
