Sunlight Mountain Resort

Mountain Biking

Appreciate your mountain in the summertime too!
Thought Sunlight was a beautiful place in the winter? You should see the lush green foliage of summer! The lifts are closed, but Sunlight’s trails are open to the public for mountain biking or hiking.

Romp through the exhilarating White River National Forest! Take a winding dirt road or grassy trail beneath cool, green aspens and under the deep blue sky of a Colorado summer day! Bring your camera and capture the views from the top of Compass Mountain! Note: Sunlight Mountain Trails are moderate to challenging. Please consider this when planning your mountain biking trip.

Get the latest gear and this year’s bikes from K2, Schwinn, Diamondback, and GT at Sunlight Ski & Bike Shop at 309 9th Street in downtown Glenwood Springs! Mountain and comfort bikes are also available for rental at our downtown shop.
