Notable annual events include Strawberry Days, Fall Arts Festival, Summer of Jazz, Symphony in the Valley and happenings at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts, which include a variety of classes, seminars and workshops.

Biking
Whether your looking for an extreme adventure on a mountain bike or just a simple trek along a paved trail, Glenwood Springs has the biking activities you’re looking for! Fishing
Fishing in bountiful in Glenwood Springs, as the town is conveniently located at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. Playing a round or two in a pristine mountain setting is a golfer’s dream! With more than a dozen courses within 40-miles of downtown Glenwood Springs, golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a full week of golf in the Roaring Fork Valley, without ever playing the same course twice! For the little golfers (or just the silly golfers!) in your group, Glenwood Springs offers miniature golf facilities as well.

Hanging LakeHiking
Whether you’re looking for a quick trek to stretch the legs, or a full day hike, Glenwood Springs is home to a number of trails that offer breathtaking views of hidden lakes, babbling brooks, and mountain wild flowers. From the middle of April to the middle of October, those seeking a whitewater adventure won’t find a better location than Glenwood Springs! Class III-IV whitewater adventures to scenic float tours Glenwood Canyon are available in Glenwood Springs. The whitewater rafting companies that call Glenwood Springs home have something for everyone, so experience or prior rafting skills are not necessary for many of these family-friendly trips. Kayak enthusiasts will enjoy navigating the Shoshone rapids and can look forward to a whitewater park opening soon in West Glenwood Springs!
